After last year’s series finale in DisneyWorld, we’re back in Florida this year at Universal Orlando Resort for the final show of SNT 2018.
Bringing the Takeaway operation 4000 miles to the US and transmitting a live show back to the U.K. presents huge logistical, creative and technical challenges. The production is centred around a set built on the edge of the lake at Universal CityWalk, with technical and production aspects based in two giant U.S. outside broadcast trucks stationed behind the scenes.
We’ve brought our custom-built computer systems over from the U.K. to enable one lucky individual in the audience to play Win The Ads, just as they do each week in the studio. This presents quite a challenge in itself – we don’t travel light!
